Answer: HDPE ( High density Polyethylene) is recyclable and is UV Protected . Also is very robust and strong besides also very light for portability.
2. Question : Where does light and ventilation come from?
Answer: Each Toilet unit has a translucent roof and provides natural light and illumination.
The toilet also has enough ventilation, which is provided on three sides of the toilet and that too very discreetly to give the user total privacy and avoid peeping toms. The vents are situated at the junction of the roof and the panels. There are 3 vents on each side.
3. Question : How much does the unit weigh?
Answer: The weight of the unit varies between 85 and 100 kilograms depending on the type of unit.
4. Question : What is the capacity of the waste tank?
Answer: The capacity varies from 175 litres to about 300 litres depending on the model.
5. Question : How many people can use the units?
Answer: The number of people using the units varies from 75 uses to 150 or more uses depending on the model of the toilet.
6. Question : How is the toilet cleaned?
Answer: The toilet cabin being mains free unit ( need not be connected to septic tank or sewer line) has to be evacuated or cleaned from time to time using a vacuum driven system, which is provided by the service provider where toilets are situated.
7. Question: How can 100 plus people use it continuously without the waste being evacuated?
Answer: The unit contains a waste tank of varied capacity. Before the unit is used, the tank is treated with a bacterial culture which helps in degrading the solid waste considerably (almost 75%). The bio chemical liquid also has a nice fragrance keeping the unit in pristine condition preventing foul smell. It is absolutely biodegradable and not harmful to the environment, drainage or the treatment plant where it is safely disposed. The bio chemical solution is formaldehyde free and is at par with international waste regulations.
8. Can the unit be attached to a sewer line/septic tank and external source of water if required?
Answer: if required another model called “Standard Fixed” unit can be provided. This unit has an Indian Style toilet at the base with an outlet for the waste. This outlet can be attached to the sewer line or septic tank.
9. Question : Where can the units be installed?
Answer: Just about anywhere, in places where there is no drainage line or septic tanks and where providing good sanitation is a must. Busy streets, shopping areas, camps, outdoor events like marriages, festivals, entertainment shows, concerts, public rallies, election campaigns, places where construction is not permitted or possible, construction sites, beaches, tourists spots, parks, high ways etc
